Richard E. Thulin, Principal

Mr. Thulin is founder of Arcadia Properties, LLC and an experienced real estate and financial professional. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Manhattan College and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University. Before starting Arcadia Development Corporation in 1986, Mr. Thulin was an officer and a member of the Real Estate Investments Committee for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in New York City. Prior to assuming that position, he founded and headed the Washington, DC regional office for Metropolitan’s Real Estate Investments Division. Mr. Thulin is active in the community and among other things, is a member of the Board of Directors of the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation, serves on the Board of Governors of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Moravian Academy. Mr. Thulin is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and in 2008 received the March of Dimes Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Award as Individual of the Year.

Charles R. Diacont, Principal

Mr. Diacont joined Arcadia Properties LLC as a principal in 1999. His knowledge of the industry and the area has been built through a career that includes regional economic and business development in the Lehigh Valley, marketing, brokerage, and consultation services. Before joining Arcadia, he served as Managing Director of the Mid-Atlantic Region of Insignia/ESG/Jackson-Cross Advisors, where he took charge of the development of the 636 acre Spring Ridge master-planned, mixed-use commercial development near Reading Pennsylvania in 1995. In 1993 Mr. Diacont formed Pinnacle Realty Group, Inc., a commercial real estate company headquartered in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to specialize in brokerage, consulting and development. As a Vice President of Marketing for Franklin Realty Development Corporation and Hagan Properties, Ltd. for seven years, he was instrumental in the completion of twenty seven commercial office, flex and special-purpose buildings throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. Mr. Diacont is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and has postgraduate studies in management, law, real estate finance and property management. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Appraiser, a certified pilot with instrument rating and a member of NAIOP. Mr. Diacont is also a member of the Council of Logistics Management.

Shawn Langen, Vice President of Development

Mr. Langen is Vice President of Development at Arcadia Properties, LLC, previously serving as Vice President of Project Administration for the firm. Langen is responsible for all entitlements and municipal approvals in connection with Arcadia projects throughout the state. In addition, he is responsible for approval and development of the RiverWalk project in Easton. The RiverWalk urban redevelopment project will serve as a catalyst bringing together a needed transit hub, mixed use of commercial and office space and concourse of shops fronting the Delaware River to aid in the City of Easton’s economic revitalization. Langen holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. He is a board member of the Northampton County General Purpose Authority, Northampton County Higher Education Authority and the Northampton County Hospital Authority.

Andrew Baldo, Vice President of Operations

Mr. Baldo is Vice President of Operations, responsible for grant application, feasibility analyses, closings, lender relations support, budgeting, and accounting overview among others. Before joining Arcadia, he was Senior Manager of Construction Advisory Services for Deloitte & Touche LLP in Philadelphia, where he was involved in construction assessment and oversight in such areas as retail, public sector, health care, petrochemical, transportation, and environmental. Prior to that, he was Project Manager for an ENR construction management firm, was Manager for the Consolidated Rail Corporation, and spent more than six years as a Project Manager for an international environmental engineering and consulting firm.
